Tadre Mill (Tadre Mølle) is situated 50 minutes west of Copenhagen, in the scenic area of Elverdamdalen. Tadre Mølle owns 12 acres of national protected nature, and today the mill is both a nature center and a cultural historical museum.
Throughout the year, the mill hosts a wide range of different activities and events for children and adults, such as middle age markets and theme days. Tadre Mølle is the perfect place for excursions in scenic surroundings. You can enjoy your picnic in the garden or explore our exhibition in the mill.
In the newly renovated exhibition room, you can experience the exhibition ”The valley of the water mills” (Vandmøllernes Dal). With 18 exhibition banners and a big illustrative country cupboard model of Elverdamdalen, the exhibition tells the story about the creation of the landscaping in the valley, the geology and how thriving millwrights have used the watered wellsprings of Elverdamdalen since the middle ages.
